I am really worried how long it will take, should I inquire !!!!!
I applied June 2001.In Oct 2002 they asked police clearance and
banak statement.I sent all.Since then I got no reply.
In the mean time one of my junior, who passed from same university in same subject with less experience , got visa.He applied on May 2001 just one month ago.
In this position should I ask CHC to my current status.I am really worried about this .My CHC centre is Singapore.
Please Mr. Miller and others help me to inform me that if inquire about my situation in CHC will there be any problem?
Thank

Please let me know about "published processing standards"
Should I ask CHC about status update?

Re: I am really worried how long it will take, should I inquire !!!!!
Please look here:
http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/singapo..._employ-en.asp
Scroll down to the middle of the above page and you'll see processing
standards for Singapore. If you applied from outside of Singapore's CHC
jurisdiction (Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia,
Myanmar (Burma), Saba, Sarawak, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam) then
your processing time may be substantially longer then their processing
standards.
And as you can read in the section "Case status enquiries" on the above page
CHC will nor even respond to status requests received before their
processing standards have been exceeded.
