Default How to Pay Immigration fees in UK

Hello,
COuld somebody please clarify how your Immigration fees should be paid in the UK.
The information we have been given by Canadian Embassy in London offers the following:

We Do Not Accept
Uncertified Personal Cheques
Company Cheques
Sterling Draft Drawn on foreign banks (does that meen non UK or non canadian)
Euro-Cheques
Credit or Debit Cards
Canadian Dollar Drafts drawn on banks outside Canada
Currency other than Canadian Dollars or Sterling

Have tried to pay over the Internet however that is only available if documents are going to Clearing centre in Canada.

From this I can only deduce that a Canadian Dollar draft drawn on a bank in Canada is acceptable.

or is a Canadian Dollar draft drawn on UK bank acceptable (eg Barclays)??

Would be very grateful if somebody could point me in the right direction

Thanks
Janice

We were a little confused as well but we just went into our branch of HSBC and told them we needed an International Bankers Draft made payable to the "Receiver General of Canada" or whoever it is. The bank will work out which bank in Canada it will be drawn on, they have a list that they work with, but that doesn't affect which UK bank you can use. Barclays is most likely fine, go in and ask them.
