Default How much time do we have after we get our immigrant visa

I was interested to know that once an applicant gets his immigrant visa, how much
time does he have before he has to leave for Canada ? Also, is there a mininum span
of time that he needs to live in Canada before he can leave the country to maintain
his immigrant status ?

You have 12 months from the date of your medicals to land in Canada. There is no
specific time limit set down in stone saying when you can or can;t leave Canada
again, but you should establish residence in Canada and maintain strong ties to
Canada while you are abroad.
