Hi Everyone

I want to ask that, how long roughly will it take to process my spouse visa application which my wife applied for me in Canada, I am in UK on student visa. we received an email which says, sponsor's eligibility has been approved in Canada and the file has been transferred to London office, but we havn't heard anything from London office yet, its more then 2 months since the file was been transferred.

Any help will be much appreciated.

6 months or less...if you're similar to people in the spreadsheet (i.e have nothing out of the ordinary in your application)

My wife is canadian, im from london uk british citizen, application received on 30th june 14, received AOR & sponsorship approved on 22 aug 14, checked the ECAS today it showing medical recieved, i havent heard anything since i recieved the letter, oh yeah one more it saying in letter that my application has been sent visa abroad for further processing, not clear which office london or ottawa?? but it showing the ottawa addfess if i want to update any information? i guess it send to ottawa hmm.. any more info?

I've updated you here, but in the future, please post in the "Timeline for Spousal Sponsorship via London" thread (in the Immigration section), as I requested in my previous response, and don't post on the bottom of someone else's older thread.

I've added you for now. Please let me know where you're located as well, nearest major city is fine (column N on the spreadsheet).

And yes, your processing office is Ottawa.
