How long for e-client status to come into effect?

How long for e-client status to come into effect?

I've recently received approval as sponsor for my wife's PR visa application
(about 1 month after sending application). How soon on e-client can I expect
to be able to access it?

In our case it took about 3 weeks before e-client was active. First she has to get a file number form the local embassy and after a week or you should be able to access your file via internet. But I would not put great hopes on e-client from what I gather from this forum it's pretty unrelaible.

Our e-client was up and running the day I received the letter with our file number.

Same here, and e-client showed "Decision made" a week before I got the
passport request...
