Sorry, this is rather general. Can someone give me the lowdown on how to immigrate?
What are the procedures, what are the criteria, where do I apply? Is there any
website (preferably non-commercial) detailing this? Anyone have personal experience?
Thanks, Nigel

All the basic information, immigration facts, requirements, selection criteria and
process are well explained on the official website of Citizenship and Immigration
Canada (Canadian Ministry of Immigration) website here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca

You'll find there also all necessary application kits and instructions. After reading
and reviewing information on this website you may always come back to this group with
more detailed questions or you may decide to hire an immigration professional to
assist you in the process.
