Hi Andrew, Can I land in Montreal and later go to Ottawa by car
Hi Andrew,
I have been planning to land in Canada by Mid-April 2004. My intended
destination in the PR application was marked as Ottawa, Ontario. My
flight is BA and the flight schedule is London~Montreal~Ottawa. I have
a friend in Montreal and therefore, can I land in Montreal instead of
Ottawa and later go to Ottawa by Car on the next day.
I would really appreciate if please let know what the immigration
rules say.
Best Regards
Naser

You will have to land in Montreal anyway because that is your first port of
entry. It should be no problem for you to stay overnight and then continue
on to Ottawa.
