Hepatitis B
Hi,
A friend of mine got positive test of Hepatitis-B. However, the test also indicates that he is a passive carrier without any mutation risk. Would that medical result completely elimininate his chance of being considered for immigration?
I checked information on some official websites which say that Canadian goverment is in the process of considering whether Hepatitis-B test will be required. It looks like this debate is still going on. I wonder if anyone on this forum has been denied of immigration approval because he/she has positive Hepatitis-B test. Also, is there any update on this medical issue?
Please share your valuable experience.
Thanks,
anton.
