Hi
1. The one problem will be that you will 0 points for age.
2. If you had at least an eligible relative in Canada and a minimum of a BA and got the max for language, you may just scrape in above 400 points.

Re: Help with visa
Most people advise that immigration consultants are a waste of money!
They charge a high fee, you do all the running around to collect the documents needed for immigration and pay those high fees ........ and you and your abilities are the only way to get a visa.
An immigration consultant cannot get you a visa if you do not check all the boxes.
So ............... don't waste your money. Ask questions on this forum, and you'll find many helpful people to help you wend your way through all the things you need to do.
A consultant or immigration lawyer MIGHT be useful if you have a very complicated life ... eg, 3 ex-wives, multiple childen, etc

Re: Help with visa
Additional to the other helpful posts above, what do you do for a living? Are you by any chance in 'trades'?
The more info you can give, the more advice people will be able to offer...

Re: Help with visa
What does the eligibility test above (or on your other thread) say? If it says you're eligible under Express Entry, then what is your CRS score?
If you can give us that info, we can help you work it out, but at the moment it's sounding like you'll need a job offer from a sponsoring employer to get a visa.

Re: Help with visa
I dont know what my score is as I haven't seen what the result is
The rest I did the other day said I was eligible for express entry but only with the following criteria filled
1) firm job offer
2) too scores in language test (TEF)
Then I seem to meet the requirements
The code for Mr trade is 2147 computer engineer

Re: Help with visa
Can you just double check your FSW scores for us? I'm assuming you don't score enough as you're not eligible for EE without a job offer, but if you can check that would be fab - Selection factors: federal skilled workers
Just wondering how far short of the 67 points you are without a job offer, and if you can get those up a bit so you don't need a job offer and sponsorship.

Re: Help with visa
The link I gave you above!
Just click on that and it takes you to the 'selection factors', click on each of those to see the points available and tot them up. Assume maximum English points for now as a native speaker, and let us know what you score. If it's close to 67 it may be possible to get your points up, but it will totally depend on your education level etc as to how far off that minimum you are.

Re: Help with visa
Having totted up the points without a job offer I am getting 54 points
This is clearly a way off
Thanks

Re: Help with visa
Or look at getting a job offer, and applying via a Provincial Nominee Program (you then wouldn't need to meet the 67 points requirement for FSW, and you'd get an extra 600 points under Express Entry too). Unfortunately though, I suspect you'd have to look at other provinces, as without post-secondary education and/or specialist skills, Ontario isn't likely to be an option. Have a look at some of the less popular provinces and their PNP programs, i.e. MB or SK, as that could be a possible way to Canada?
Best of luck.

Who can apply - Atlantic Immigration Pilot
Additionally, you could look at this post and see if you could qualify as a temporary worker under the Global Talent Stream http://britishexpats.com/forum/canad...ancies-899238/
Edited to add, you may be interested in some of the jobs advertised through the 'Go Talent' program - https://www.ictc-ctic.ca/talent/ and https://www.etalentcanada.ca/hot-jobs/
