I am sponsoring my wife to join me in Canada. e-CAS says that they have mailed me the decision but they have two addresses

Your current home address
This has my current address which I filled in the form

AND

Your current mailing address
This has the address I had in 2004 when I applied for my PR card.

My application to sponsor has my current mailing address so why are they mailing me at my old one ? Will this delay my processing ?

Is it better to write or fax CPC-M, update e-CAS or call the call center ?

Forget what e-cas says. If you refer to the statement "decision has been made on your application. Letter has been sent to you" or something like it then don't pay any attention to it. It is a standard entry into e-cas every time any decision among many is made during the process and most of them never result in anything being mailed to applicant.

Please do the search in this forum for "decision made".

called up the call center. as per the agent the sponsorship eligibility part of the application has been approved and a letter with the file number mailed to me !
