Just checking if anyone has received approval for sponsorship from Mississauga. My sponsorship application was received by CPC last March 23. Visa office that will be processing the second stage is Manila.

Do you mean that it was received last March, March 2005? If so, something's seriously wrong. If you mean March 2006, then you've got a bit of a wait yet, it takes them about a month just to open the envelope (without any exaggeration), so you're looking at around 3-4 months before you hear anything from them.

Have a look at my timeline, but basically, it did take them a month to open the envelope (even for a local government worker like myself, this is highly amusing!), and then just under 2 weeks to approve the sponsorship and send it off to London.

Mississauga are currently opening packages recieved up to March 10th and are taking up to 50 days to process. you can keep checking at
