governed by a regulatory body jobs for Quebec Visa
Hi
in terms to apply to Quebec visa for people whos job require regulatory body, do we need to contact that regulatory body first
or we can apply immidiatly?

You do not have to contact those regulatory bodies. Just apply for the Selection Certificate.

I was interviewed in november and was only asked if I knew the procedure to join the regulatory body, and they ask me to describe what I knew about it which I did, that was all....

Hi, I applied for CSQ recently, my profession is one of the ones regulated in Quebec, however when I applied I only sent my application and copies of all other documents requested, nothing about contacting the regulatory body first.
I was interviewed in november and was only asked if I knew the procedure to join the regulatory body, and they ask me to describe what I knew about it which I did, that was all....

May I ask what is your profession?
how many points did you get for that?
When I checked for Optometry in the LIST OF AREAS OF TRAINING

i found that Optometry gets 16 points if Quebec or equivalent but gets 0 points for foreign degrees !
so I am not sure if in our case we will get 0 or 16?
