Default Funds in Canadian or UK account?

Re Proof of Funds

We currently have sufficient funds in our UK bank account for the purpose of PR application, with more to follow once application approved & house sold etc.

Is it advisable to have the initial funding ($11,775+) in a Canadian bank account or leave it in the UK?

We would obviously need to open a Canadian account in the future anyway, so should we do this at this stage & leave it there for the duration of the application?

Is there an advantage either way as far as the application goes?

Any advice appreciated.

It won't make any difference.
