Today I became a permanent resident of Canada. Its dificult to express how I feel, excited,relieved,exausted and ecstatic.
anyway here is my timeline
-application recieved 31st of july 2006
-started proccessing 27th October 2006
-approval in principle 13th april 2007
-decision made 16th April 2007
-became permanent resident 27th April 2007.
Also did not have to get police check or do fingerprints from RCMP.
Anyway thankyou all for the help and information you provided.
And good luck to everyone still waiting do not lose faith.

Congratulations...
Hopefully that will be us soon, received out visa's and we should be off to canada in June some time..
