Finally!

Hopefully a lot of people will be pleased to know that our med requests have just this minute been posted through our letterbox
(and there I was on another thread dissing our postie as he doesn't usually deliver anything on a Saturday!).
Can't quite believe it!
I had to ring up my husband as he's off to do a couple of wakeboarding sets and I've now got to do aerobics (my instructor won't be very pleased as she keeps threatening to tell CHC not to let me go!).
And it's the first barbecue of the year for us with all our friends so now I don't even care if the rain comes as I'll have a glass of champers in my hand!
We live in Farnborough, Hampshire so has anyone from round here got any recommendations on where to go for meds (no list was enclosed) and a rough cost for two adults.
Thanks for everyone's support recently too!

I think it cost us about £250 overall including xrays etc. but that was for a family of 4. You should have had a list of doctors you have to choose from with your med requests.

We had the 90 day letter early December last year and we emailed them a couple of times in April and May to be told that our file was awaiting officer review and was with an officer and then had the med requests on Saturday.
Hope that helps and I hope yours come through soon as I can sympathise entirely with the anguish the waiting causes.

Have booked our meds for next Monday at Slough! So hope Dr Jones is as nice as everyone says he is!

PS One the back of the letter there was a hand written comment "please email us once your medicals have been completed" - any ideas why that might be? Are they going to get on with issuing our visa (subject to a good medical) rather than keep us waiting even longer?
