a few immigration questions
Hello, i'm a British citizen living in Ottawa, ON. I want to get PR but I have a few questions before I start the process of applying. Your advice would be invaluable.
1. I currently live and work (under a temporary visa) in Ottawa, but I am planning to move to Hull in Quebec (just over the river from Ottawa). Is this allowed under the rules (i.e. applying for PR while living in Quebec but working in Ontario)?
2. If I move will I have to apply to Quebec immigration as well as Canadian immigration?
3. If so, to which do I apply first.
4. I have to get prosecution/conviction information from the UK. I have lived in Aberdeen, Newcastle and Northallerton since my 18th birthday. Do I get one from Scotland and one from England or do I need Grampian, Northumbria and North Yorks?
5. Will I need to get prosecution/conviction records from here in Canada too?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mark
