Fee payment... Mr Miller please help???
Hello,
Myself and partner are just about to submit our application for Canadian Permanent Residence to Buffalo. We're living in Canada as temporary residents, but the actual fee payment is starting to become a little confusing.
I understand it’s $1100 for myself and partner, but my question is this…. Do we submit the bankers draft with our application paperwork, and keep the receipt for our records, or do we have the bank pay in the banker draft directly, and then we send the receipt along with the application?
I know when my partner applied for her work permit, , we had to order a pink receipt from the CIC website, but I think this is for "applications processed from within Canada". The way I see it, our application is being processed in the US. Please help, good man!!!
Million thanks,
Austen

Pink receipts are only for fees for applications from within Canada. You
must submit bank draft drawn on bank in Canada and made payable to "Receiver
General for Canada".
