Hello Experts

I need basic information regarding farmer's category(self-employed). I
tried on CIC web-site, but still I have confusion about some points
like eligibilty criteria and language requirements. Do I need to
transfer funds to Canada or purchase a farm etc.

To qualify in the self-employed category as a farmer person must have proven
farming experience and enough funds to not only purchase a farm in Canada but
also to support himself or herself and dependants in Canada until farm starts
generating income. Other selection criteria like language, education, age,
experience and adaptability are also assessed.
