Hi all, my partner has recently completed an express entry application. She completed the eligibility test first and was told she was eligible, so she went on to complete the next stage. Once submitted, within seconds she received a refusal letter. She is more than eligible on all catigories, for example, she has a doctorate in bio medical science and high scores in the language test.
Has anybody got any advice ? Xx

I presume you mean she Submitted a Profile (ie the next step after an Eligibility test), not an Application.
Automatic rejection means the Profile was missing some information.
Has she ACTUALLY taken the language test and does she have a Certificate yet?
In terms of Express Entry, I'm ancient, as I submitted my profile back in February, so I can't even remember what the Profile looks like!!

Was she planning to apply as a Skilled Worker? If so, what does she score both as a FSW and on the CRS?
You've said she's taken her ielts, does she also have an ECA?

Points, FSW (Federal Skilled Worker), she must score over 67 to qualify - Six selection factors – Federal skilled workers
That's the first eligibility check, then if she scores enough (and has provided the required documents e.g. the IELTS test results and ECA), she's then placed in to a pool and to be in with a chance of being selected from that pool and invited to apply for PR, will need to score above approx 450 on the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) - Express Entry – Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Criteria
If in doubt about any of the acronyms, there's a good Wiki article about the abbreviations used on the forum if you read the 'Newbies' sticky thread (link in my signature).
If you can give us more info about her points score and ECA, then hopefully we can help you figure out why she was rejected.
HTH.

Apply now for a WES credential evaluation
Also, for FSW you need to score 67 points under the selection factors

To open a profile for Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) under Express Entry, you need to complete an Educational Credential Assessment first ( as well as having an English test done)

There are 4 categories of PR you can apply for under Express Entry -
Federal Skilled Trades. Unless your partner is a tradesperson (plumber, welder etc) then she won't qualify under that.
Provincial Nominee Program. You've not mentioned her being nominated for PR by a province, so I assume she wouldn't qualify under that.
Canadian Experience Class. You've also not mentioned her working in Canada, so again I assume that category isn't something she'd be eligible under.
That leaves FSW, and for that an ECA is mandatory.(it's not mandatory for all of the above categories). Plus without an ECA she won't be given any points for education, so that'll probably be why she was initially told she was eligible (when she put the details of the doctorate in), then was rejected when the points and ECA for the doctorate couldn't be included.
It would be well worth her reading up on the requirements and eligibility criteria for a PR via EE before applying again in case there's something else missing, but hopefully if she gets the ECA and scores enough points then she can try again.
HTH and good luck.

Hi I previously applied to CLPNA in 2014 and was granted a conditional licence until i sat the exam, however we did not emigrate but are now looking at the express entry route. Was wondering i would have to start the application process again to get my qualifications recognised to begin the EE process? TIA

Best to ask in the main Canada forums as it's not a visa question as such.
Thx.
