Experts, please help... Don't know what to do!
I will be landing in the very near future. I have already found a job with a Canadian company which is headquartered in the US. I was just told that I need to travel to the hedquarters (in the US) a week after I land / start with my company, for about 3 or 4 days. Needless to say, I will not have enough time to wait for my PR card, however I am originally from a Country included in the visa waiver program.
I would really appreciate if someone can help me on what should I do. I think not traveling is not an option... it will look really bad to start with BUTs
Thanks!

If you are travelling only to the USA this may not be a problem. Check out
the CICs website for the information. www.cic.ca

Jim,
Thanks so much for yur help. I did go to www.cic.gc.ca and I couldn't find any relevant information. The closest match that I found was: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/applica...des/5529e.html
This page clearly states:
"Who should apply for a Travel Document?
Permanent residents of Canada who do not have an original Record of Landing, a valid Returning Resident Permit or a Permanent Resident Card"
In my case I won't have any of these... I am positive that I can jump into the plane; however, when going through customs, how should I go about proving that I'm a landed immigrant without a PR card? Would they let me in?
I mean, I am already renting a house, I have already setup utilities, I have a signed (by both parties) offer letter from my employer stating my starting date, I'll have a SIN by then, etc. etc. The only thing is that I'm leaving a week after I land, and coming back 3 or 4 days later.
Thanks for your help.
