Experts.I need your opinion
I have been in canada 3.5 years, 2.5 years as a student and 1 year after graduation work permit which will expire in may,2004.
I applied to PR in september 2002 with CSQ. Did my medicals and RCMP in november 2002. Since then waiting, finally e-client turned into decision made 3 weeks ago, but i didn't hear anything yet... My company gave me another job offer and I paid 100 dollars for CSQ and received the HRDC confirmation and CAQ number today... Should i apply to vegreville for a new work permit or should i wait a bit more until i hear something from Buffalo... I don't want to pay another 150 dolar for a work permit if I will be receiving a passport request soon.. Suggestions please..

The only safe step would be to apply for the extension to your WP now. Your
medical is out of date and you may have to repeat it. If you wait until you
hear further it may be too late to keep your legal status up-to-date.

Thanks for your suggestion.. I will apply for an extension... Do You think they may ask me to do the medicals again, cause i read in this forum many times that if you are in canada they extend the validity of the medicals up to 7 months... In which cases this rule is applicable? I know from my caips which i obtained in last september my medicals were M01.... Thank you..
