Just a quick question, As a landed Entrepeneur, what are the chances of the
Immigration people changing my status. Since landing in Canada I have acquired a job
as a Crown employee and the company I work for is desparate to keep me working with
them. The company has had great difficulty finding experienced workers across
Ontario(I have 18 years experience in this line of work). They do not want me to
leave, but I would have to in order to fill the restrictions on my visa. Any info
would be appreciated.

Re: Entrepreneur
You were granted a conditional immigration visa as an entrepreneur and you have 2
years from landing to meet conditions of your visa. There is no chance to change the
status of your visa. If the company you work for really wants your service then start
your own company and ask them to hire your company on a contract basis to do the same
job you are doing now - it may be extremely difficult, but possible. Or you may start
and run your business without leaving the job if you can manage time and
responsibilities. But you'll still need to create at least one more permanent job in
your company (for someone other than yourself and your dependants) in order to have
your application for conditions removal considered.

Re: Entrepreneur
If you landed as an Entr. you have two years to fulfill the conditions = on your
visa. (most likely to demonstrate that you have established, = purchased or joined in
partnership a business where you are the active = participate and because of your
activity have created employment = opportunity for at least one Canadian other than
yourself and family)
If you cannot demonstrate that you have at least tried, you will most = likely be
reported so it is a good idea to meet these conditions.
