Hi christmasoompa,I dont have my birth certificates.Will the birth date mention in the Passport be enough.I can make a notarized document from the Indai Mission in UAE saying I dont have birth certificate and that the date mentioned in my passport is correct for all records.It is 40 year old story and at that time birth certificates were not important in India.

I've no idea I'm afraid, I had my birth certificate so didn't even have to get another copy of it!

Can you get hold of one? I don't know what the 'India Mission in UAE' is and whether their word will carry any weight or not, who are they?

As the OP claims not to have a birth certificate, if s/he was educated in India, then s/he should submit the 10th year certificate from school which has the parents and the birth date.
