Education/age points awarded.
Please could anybody help us on the following questions:-
1/ Completed 11 years education, followed by a 4 year electrical apprenticeship (college attendance 42 weeks 1st year, 24 weeks 2nd year,
24 weeks 3rd year, 12 weeks 4th year block release)
receiving a full indentured electrical certificate at the completion of 4th year.
Qualification received City & Guilds parts 1 & 2 electricians certificate, part 3
technicians C&G certificate, appliance repairs C&G certificate and basic engineer certificate, 4 year course also included basic engineers certificate.
Also other certificates obtained after completion of apprenticeship,
would I qualify for 20 points or 22 points?
2/ I am currently 50 years old if I apply for the skilled federal route my points currently are 8, will they change on visa issue dates.
Thanks Peter.

Re: Education/age points awarded.
Hi
1. Probably 20 points as it would appear that the school full time equivalent would be less than 3 years.
2. Age is locked in at date of application.
