E.A. + Visitor Visa for UK citizen?

Hello, I have just received my job offer and temporary work validation from
HRDC/MRCI, when I start work in Canada, I will need to visit the USA frequently
during my employment. My questions are:
1. Will I need to apply for an E.A. _and_ Visitor visa?
2. If the answer to (1) is yes, will I need to fill in not only an
E.A. + $150, but a Visitor Visa application and _another_ $150 for a Multiple
entry document?
The canadian embassy websites are a little vague in this respect, and i hear their
fax-back scheme can be very slooooooow..... I figured some people here have done
something similar, so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
