Hi I am trying to use the e-client to check my application I keep getting the message We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:
Can someone tell me if this is the information that is required?
File No : starts with B 10 digits
Surname/Family Name: Surname/followed by Christian names what format is required i.e. whole name with / separating each or just surname or first and last names
Date of birth separated by dashes –
Thanks in Advance for any help
File No:
Surname/Family Name:
Date of Birth: YYYY-MM-DD
Country of Birth:

Granted the file was open under e-client the you should type the following:
File No: BXXXXXXXXX (B followed by 9 digits)
Surname/Family Name: Family Name ONLY!
Date of Birth: YYYY-MM-DD (CORRECT)
Country of Birth: from the list

Contiv's diagram is correct, (only 9 numbers) so maybe you have got the numbers muddled or your file is not on eclient yet?
I honestly wouldn't worry too much......my eclient has read "in process" since June last year. I don't even bother looking at it now!

Most likely your file has not been open under the e-client system. Be patient it will come up although there is not of much use.

What sort of message you get?
I just checked, it is working now. Server was supposed to be down on Sunday, 1200 to 1300 hrs EST.
My application is in Process since June 2002. I got the same dumb message, once again.

In my case I was not able to enter the e-client because my name is misspelled in their system.
So I had to enter the misspelled name with the file number to be able to log in.
Check your AOR and enter your family name as written on the AOR.
