Hi,

I have a question for (prospective) Dutch immigrants: I have been researching PLPD
car insurance and they want a record of your driving history (i.e. accidents,
convictions, etc.). Now in Holland we don't have a demerit points system so how would
I go about obtaining this record? Note: I never drove a car I actually owned, the
company I work for leased the car in their own name and provided it for me to use.

Thanks, Marco

We lived in the States for more than a year and took the 'no claim' proof from our
car insurance company with us. This is a letter that is normally used when you switch
to another insurance company. This must give enough indication of least how safe you
are driving. This is what whe thought, but it did not help in the US, they simply
refused it as a proof, but it may be useful in Canada.

regards, Theo ter Meer.

bestonden in NL. Raar?
