Hi folks,
Does an Indian citizen who is a landed immigrant need a visa to enter the US? If not, how
long can he stay in the US without a visa? Thanks in anticipation.

An Indian citizen who holds permanent resident status in Canada does not need a visa
sticker to seek entry at a POE. However, being allowed to enter the US is not guaranteed
by any means. The officer at the POE will detemine whether to allow entry or not. The
officer will also determine the duration. 90% of Canadian residents and citizens, those
allowed entry, get 6 months by default. S K Ghori. **I am neither a lawyer nor an

Such an individual would not require a passport visa to appear at a US port of entry. The
length of admission would be subject to the discretion of a US immigration official.

I am a PR of Canada and intend to return Canada. My question is: Can I have a stopover at
a airport of US without a US visa? And if can, how long I can stay in US?
Thank you, David Cohen and anyone offers an answer.
