Distance learning Master degree and Study Visa
Hi,
Can anyone tell me if I can get a student visa if doing a distance learning degree.
I hope to settle in NS but would like to get a "feel" for the area before settling there for good. During that time I was hoping to do my masters through an online course (Everglades Univerisity in Florida). Is this the best route. I'm open to ideas.
Thanks
Martin

Nope. You need to be enrolled in post secondary education program in Canada (full time, not distance learning of any kind) to be eligible for study permit. What made you think that doing distance learning in Florida will help you in any way get Canadian study permit?
