Did I do my FBI fingerprints check correctly?
Hi Everyone,
I have recently been requested by the Canadian Consulate General in Buffalo to get an FBI police certificate in order to finalize my application.
What I did was that I followed their instructions. I had my fingerprints taken on an FBI fingerprint form, then I mailed it to:
FBI - CJIS Division
Attn: SCU, Mod D-2
1000 Custer Hollow Road
Clarksburg, West Virginia 26306
USA
All I sent them was the completed form with my fingerprints taken on it. I did not include any letter explaining why I needed the fingerprints check since that was not in the instructions.
I'm now a little worried that FBI will not process my fingerprints and I will be wasting time waiting for that.
Any ideas or thought?
Thanks -
Ihab

Please let me know if you need more information on checking your
fingerprinting application with FBI as to whether they have received
it or not or if they have processed it when have they mailed the
results. There is a phone number where they give this information once
you inform them that you have sent the fingerprinting application in
ref to Canadian Immigration.

Here is what you need to send :
1. Fingre prints on an FBI approved fingre print card.
2. Letter stating the reason you need this for ( immigrating to Canada).
3. The letter from the consulate stating the request for you to have your figure printing done.
4. Money order in the name of Tresury of united states of $18 per person.
Excuse my spellings .

I have read somewhere that the fingerprint for fbi clearance has to be
in black ink. Is it true.
In india they usually use blue ink for fingerprint.
