Hi all, My wife has a son from her first mariage. Do we have to obtain a permit from
her fromer husband for his immigration.

Thanks

Yes, father of your wife's son must signed a notarized consent allowing the child to
be taken out of the home country.

Thank you for your response. I have one more question.

The father of mywife's son have already signed permit allowing the child to be taken
out to Canada . I am currently in Canada on empl. authorization. Does he have to sign
a consent again.

Thanks "Andrew Miller" <[email protected]>

If the consent is notarized and allows child to be taken to Canada permanently (not
only temporary) then there is no need for another one, just submit the existing one.
