Demand for Manitoba program

Greetings,

I see so many posters asking about Manitoba's provincial program.
What is the reason Manitoba is so much in demand?
Are there better economic/job opportunities there?
What kind?

I am interested because I will be landing soon.

Really?
I thought even with the PNP, applicants still had to go thru the same
federal process of medicals, background checks, etc.
Also, if an applicant qualifies via the PNP, aren't they required to land
and settle in that province only?

Which is why I want to know what is so special in Manitoba that there is
such a rush for PNP applicants?
What kind of jobs are available after landing?

Nothing special - just a myth of easier acceptance driving tens of thousands
to apply there despite warnings that it is not that rosy.
