Delayed PR Cards?
Anyone still waiting for a PR card for a December 2015 'Landing'?
My daughter's card still hasn't appeared despite landing on 18th December. Not a big issue as she is in the UK at college at the moment, but still overdue. It was being sent to our address in Canada (it hasn't turned up in the UK either).
Will have to give CIC a call on Tuesday....

Re: Delayed PR Cards?
Hi, it won't turn up in the UK as PR cards are not mailed (by CIC) outside of Canada.
Will I get my permanent resident card by mail?
Is there any reason that you thought that it might be? (as you write that it hasn't turned up in the UK either).

Re: Delayed PR Cards?
The current Processing Time is quoted on the website as 49 days, BUT you should not contact CIC unless 6 weeks has passed SINCE that 49 day period has passed.
So the current real Processing Time is therefore actually 91 days....

Today is day 101, but then a CIC year probably only has 260 days (or fewer) in it and not 365 or 366 like the rest of us!

Re: Delayed PR Cards?
The last person I know who did this for the same reason, got a response quite quickly.
Let us know what transpires.

Mine was late too. I landed on 1 December 2015. I phoned them. And they said it had't been sent for printing for reasons they couldn't figure out. Sent for printing the same day (Friday). Posted on Wednesday. Got it one week later.

Gah!
On their 'reply by' deadline of 10 days, CIC replied by asking me to submit the Case specific Enquiry again, confirming my address in the Comments box and re-submitting any attachments again.
They are effing useless!!!!!
So now it will be another 10 days until they reply again...with another excuse no doubt.

Re: Delayed PR Cards?
So, the 10 working day deadline has passed AGAIN and this time they haven't even bothered their asses to reply with a delaying tactic email.
You currently can't even speak to them on the phone - after you get through the multiple levels of automated menu and select '0' to speak to an advisor, it says they are too busy and you should contact them online or call back later
It has said the same all week so far....

Re: Delayed PR Cards?
Yay - finally managed to get through on the phone with a 20 minute hold time!
Daughter's PR card apparently being printed today (yeah right...) but will still be another 3-6 weeks before it is delivered.
So that means the current processing time is actually more like 173 Days and not the 48 days that they are currently claiming....
