Default delay for Health Care in Ontario vs Quebec

Hello,

Do you know how long people can wait to obtain a chirurgical operation
in Ontario ? For instance Toronto. Is is as long as in Quebec ?
Do you have an estimation for an operation like appendicitis ?

Are emergencies as full as in Quebec ?

Thank you,

Harry

Emergency operations anywhere in Canada are not subject to waiting
lists. If you have appendicitis, or other emergent surgery, it will be
performed without delay as soon as the need for surgery is identified
and a surgical team assembled. It is the NON-emergent care that is
subject to waiting lists, and it depends on where you are in Ontario as
to the delay. Quebec has waiting lists too, although you don't hear
about them as often.
