If a PR commutes daily from Canada to US to attend US college will this
interfere with his application for Canadian citizenship? ( assuming PR spends each night in Canada) If I remember correctly I read previously somewhere here that this commute would not be a problem to maintain PR status under the old 183 rule but might pose a problem for the citizenship application. What do the experts think? George |
If you commute every morning to US and are coming back every evening to Canada then
each such day is counted as day of residency in Canada. -- ../.. Andrew Miller Immigration Consultant Vancouver, British Columbia email: [email protected] (delete REMOVE and INVALID from the above address before sending email) ________________________________ > > > > > > > > > > > |
