currnet time to issue PR card changed to 16 weeks?
I landed in the first week of the March 05. My wife (main applicant) and my daughter (who included in my wife’s passport) received their PR cards in 3 weeks. I am still waiting for mine. I tried to call the Call Center several times and got to this point: The phone voice says: “Currently applications lodged before March 2005 are processed. Do not attempt to find about after this date by phone or online since the applications haven't been entered to the system”. As I listened further, it says the current time to issue the cards has been extended to 16 weeks from date of application. I tried to speak to them directly but the phone says we are currently too busy to respond. I appreciate if you share your recent experience or other information.
