Current Processing time for similar cases @ Buffalo?
Background:
I have a job validation and are working in Canada, I have a master
degree from Canada, too. Based on the standard of self assessment, my
score is almost around 90.
Time line:
1. I submitted my case in Sep., 2001, the case was being processed in
Buffalo;
2. In Sep.2002, I got a letter (initial assessment result) with
medical forms and it also requested some more personal information
(like original letter from my employmer, etc...)from Buffalo, I
completed and sent out all the required to Buffalo in October 2002;
Question:
In the last letter from Buffalo, the designated immigration officer
said I could have an interview waver. But I have not received the
landing paper after I completed all their requirements in last October
- 7 and a half months passed! I could not get the processing status
from CIC's website nor their call center service, that left me with
only one choice - fax, but after 2 consecutive fax inquiries, still
response from Buffalo!
I am just so frustrated. Can anybody give me some suggestions on what
might happened to my case and how long it will still take to have the
landing paper?
Thanks a lot,
George

Try to get married an United States citizen and get your green card!
Gas alone costs 50% higher in Canada.
Average gas price 74 cents in canada
$1.45 a gallon in United States.
1 gallon = 3.87 liters
exchange rate = US$1= 1.38 canadian
salary for IT and Pharmaceutical Professional = 35.000 canadian, 80.000
United States...

Buffalo is notorious for not answering such queries. I know, I'm in
the same situation as you!
You may wish to ask a Canadian friend for your CAIPS file
(www.caipsnotes.com) to see what's going on.
Good luck.
