Hope someone can help me.
I have gathered all the relevant documentation to send with my FSTP application.
But should I get my Qualifications assessed? I was looking at applying to BCIT as we plan to move to Vancouver.
I am also applying for positions in BC from here in the UK.
I am a qualified Electrician but have been employed in the semiconductor industry as a Maintenance Technician for the past 10 years.

You need to have:
"an offer of full-time employment for a total period of at least one year** or a certificate of qualification in that skilled trade issued by a provincial or territorial body."
So yes, if you don't have a job offer you need to get a certificate of qualification from a Canadian province. This is the biggest hurdle for most who want to apply for this program.
