Cost of a Medical in England
Hi Guys,
My partner is going to Manchester to get a medical by an approved CIC doctor tomorrow to attach to our common law sponsorship application. They are requesting 280 pounds. Does anyone know if this is a the going price? Seems a bit expensive...
Cheers

Sounds pretty cheap by UK standards.
Glad I got mine done here...worked out to about 90 quid for the medical, xray and bloodwork

My girlfreind & 4 month old daughter had theirs done about 3 months ago and it cost us £340ish for both. I think the babys was £75. They charge more if you have any tattoos & peircings that isnt a standard ear due to the requirement of a Hep B test i beleive. The medical practice was in handsworth, Birmingham.

Same as James - Spires £290 per adult.
Kids are cheaper. I think our 9 year old was £95. The 12 year old was a lot more but can't remember how much(!) and the 15 year old was adult price.
Canadian immigration ain't cheap.

We did ours in London at Knightsbridge Doctors, cost us £280 for one adult.
So yes, seems like yours is about the going rate!

Have mu OH and his 3 kiddos to get done. 11, 15 and 5. Handsworth worked out cheapest for the lot by about 200! if you have more than one child its worth looking into.
was going to be £785 in Maidenhead, £520 in Birmingham and a megatrain is cheaper than the petrol!

Re: Cost of a Medical in England
Has anyone had their meds done at THE BRIDGE CLINIC - MAIDENHEAD - OR IN LONDON -
MY GODDDDDDD I CANT BELIEVE THE PRICES -
am i correct in thinking the meds required is - BLOOD, PEE, general medical history + X Ray.
+ kids - general medical
just the bridge clinic website had all these different prices for tests at £50 each etc etc - -
the email i rec from canada didnt exactly tell me what the med should include - they just sent me a form to fill in to take with.
