Continuous mistakes made by immigration employees..,
I was wondering if anybody has had continuous mistakes made in their
paper work within applying for their PR??
If I added the total time wasted in waiting for corrections, and am
still waiting, I think the total time wasted by their mistakes totals
up to 1 whole year. That's one whole year of TAX payers money, of
unnescesary paper work. That's one whole year extra ontop of the 7
months I've been waiting for my PR. 1yr 7 months!!!!!!!!
Does any body know any other company that would accept SO many
mistakes? Is there not a customer service complaints office I could
complain to?
Since the start nothing has run smoothly.
Sincerely fed up,
CP.

Dear Fed Up......
What is your bitch....your already in Canada and inland processing
seems to take a bit longer. Get over it.
I applied in Aug 97 inland, and didn't land until Nov 2000....Thank
God my spouse had private insurance, and Yes I had to pay taxes here
on my interest income, pay for private schools, and was not able to
travel home to see family members. When you get your AUP you can then
apply for a Work Permit, with that you can also get your medical card.
So in the mean time, learn how to use your computer skills, learn how
to clean the house, and cook the family meals.....in other words keep
busy and enjoy life. And if for some reason you don't get your PR you
can always move to Belize.

Re: Continuous mistakes made by immigration employees..,
I think Fed Up has a valid point...you are lucky that you could survive
waiting that long....some people are not so fortunate...What is AUP????
Fed Up do you have your PR in principle yet? If so how long did it take to
get that?
