How does one go about applying for a work permit throught this
"Note. According to the previous rules, the employer had to a apply to HRSDC for an LMO. Only after the LMO had been issued was the applicant allowed to
submit an application for a temporary work permit. However, since February 23, 2007, CIC has allowed concurrent processing of the employer's application for an LMO and the foreign national's application for a work permit. "
Do you attach a letter saying that your employer has applied for an lmo on your behalf or what?

Concurrent processing works if you have applied for PNP and received a positive approval certificate then you can apply for the work permit alonwith PR application. In that case PNP office provide letter for work permit.
In case of work permit only, you need Positive LMO then submit application with LMO. I think this is what i understood.

I applied for a WP whilst waiting for the LMO- Just attach a letter to your application requesting concurrent processing. Whole process took about 8 weeks but it depends on what kind of job you are going for. Good luck.
