Some sort of photo ID will help establishing it was her that wrote the letter. Including contact info like a phone number too.

No idea about the addresses on other stuff...I do know in Ontario there is a fine associated with having the wrong address listed on a Driving License for example so it might be a good idea to get the addresses updated

We had my parents write a letter stating that we were going to be living with them when we first moved back to Ontario. We just included all my parents' contact information, and they physically signed and mailed the letter to us so it had an original signature on it. We figured then if CIC had an issue they had all their contact information (address, phone number, email) and could follow-up separately if required.

Ok but we no longer live at the apartment so shes using her parents address again. Not sure how much that will matter. She knew it was only for 1 year didn't see the point in updating, as she was not driving that year anyway.
