Joe, I suggest you have a chat with the International Student Advisors at your college. Most of the big ones have ISAs who are RCICs or RISIAs who are people qualified to give international students advice on what they can/can't do.

Thanks snowy560. I might just do that too. I know I can make far more money if I go home for summer so if I could get my girlfriend to come over for her holidays it would make it easier on us financially.
