Default common-law partner education certification

Firstly thanks to everyone who answers my many questions. This news group
is a terrific resource for me. Maybe some day I will be able to answer a
question here.

My partner is the applicant. He has a traditional education and therefore
will be submitting a "univerisity-sealed envelope" of his transcripts. My
education was essentially at a trade school - I have a Doctor of
Chiropractic degree. Since it is really a vocational degree rather than a
university degree, it appears that all I need to submit is a copy of my
diploma. Perhaps a copy of a state license would be a good idea, too. But
I don't need to contact the school for a copy of my transcripts, do I?
Would I need to prove that it is was a 4-year program? To do that I suppose
I would need to submit transcripts.
