Default Citizen Certificate Application Question

I am a Canadian who has lived in Canada since I was a child. I was born in England and have my Registration of Birth Abroad. I was recently advised when applying for a name change on my SIN card that I have to obtain a Citizenship card as the Government no longer accepts Registration of Birth Abroad as proof of citizenship. I have the Citizenship Card Application and have completed same. My questions is do I need to submit original supporting documents with the Application – i.e. Original birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce decree. I do realize that they require the original Registration of Birth Abroad.

thanks
