Default CIC timeframes

Hi everyone

Does anyone know what the time frame is for CIC in London to get back to you regarding going for medicals etc.

I sent my second lot of forms off to London back on the 20th September and have not heard anything back from them yet. I know it arrived, as i sent via registered next day delivery and it was signed for, but still no response as yet.

How long did it take others to hear back please - Nikki-dreaming and Flogger, you did the CI stream, how long from sending to London did it take for them to say you could book medicals.

Any advice welcome

Emmjay

Hi Emmjay

We are going on the same route as well. We sent our docs to CIC 12th Aug 09, received med requests 10th Sept, had Meds 21st Sept, Rec bloodtest results back 25th Sept, PPR 23 Oct (by email), dropped passports off yesterday

Hope this helps

Thanks everyone

Just feels like forever. As i said i sent forms to London on 20th September and it is now 2nd November and still not heard from them? so was getting worried.

I think they will need to ask me if i want to cancel my FSW route first before accepting the PNP route, but i am still waitng for this.

I am keeping fingers crossed. I think if i have not heard in next few weeks I will e-mail them to make sure it is being dealt with.
Thanks

The way I understood it was that it was down to you to send them a fax/e-mail cancelling the FSW application before you submitted your PNP application?

Hi Emmjay

We applied for PR 18 months ago, and then submitted a NS CIS application in August this year. London rang us to see what we wanted to do with the 1st application and if we wanted to transfer the fees to the new application. I would send them a quick email.

I emailed them regarding payment of fees, as i was unsure as to whether they could just transfer my original FSW fees across to PNP application. They got back to me and told me to send new set of fees.

So now i need to know whether they are going to cancel my FSW application and move to the PNP one and how long this usually takes.

I think i will email them again to try and find out what is happening, as i thought they would have let me know by now!

We had to cancel our FSW application and send the new PNP application and fees. We waited for our FSW fees to come back as we didn't have enough to send a whole new draft for the fees - it took 3 months and one week to come back.

If you can afford to send new fees before your old ones come through, then just fax them a letter asking them to cancel your FSW application and inform them that they have your PNP application and you will send fees to cover this application.

Hi Amy

I have already sent PNP forms with a new bankers draft, so I just need to
e-mail them regarding the FSW forms and cancellation of this so i can that payment back.

I thought they might have contacted me via email to query this, but i guess not. I will dig out my FSW application number and PNP numbers and send them another e-mail regarding this.

Thanks

Em

Just to try and put your mind at rest.

My full app to London England was posted from Canada Sept 1st. Tracking for the mail shows that the app arrived in the UK Sept 5th.

My E-Cas Changed yesterday to let me know they had my package.
