Checklist for landing
Hi Mr Miller,
I am planning to land in Canada this weekend. I will fly to Toronto.
I am in USA on H1B. My Immigrant visa stamp is valid till April 2004.
I am planning to be in Canada for a week and then return to USA and
move once i find a job in Canada.
I will carry the following
*Passport
*Confirmation of Permanent Residence documents
*Bank Statements
*List of goods carrying and to follow
I am planning to apply for PR card and SIN number. Is it applied at
the airport itself.
Some questions that i had for you:
1) Is there anything you think i should take more based on your
experience.
2) What is the rule, jow long can i stay out of Canada after landing
to maintain permanent residence?
