Case submitted for sponsorship of infant son

Case submitted for sponsorship of infant son
Dear Experts,
I submitted the case in for sponsorship of my infant son born outside
Canada in Mississauga in April, with a fee receipt of CAD 150. after
about one and a half-month I received my case back with a letter that
the receipt shows CAD 150 how ever the department has only received
CAD 50. (it was really strange because banks don’t give such
type of favors) any way I deposited CAD 100 more and resubmitted the
case within few days (department gave me 90 days for resubmission of
case with addition CAD 100 receipt)
Is my case again in the que as it was originally submitted or would it
be processed earlier because its already about 2 and half months
passed, does any body has any idea how long does this type of cases
normally takes.
Please advise because my wife (already PR) and son are waiting for the
documents.

You start date is the date the complete application and proper fee are on
hand at the CIC. Sor the later date applies.
