Dear all,
I have received the invitation to attend the interview regarding
permanent residence to Canada. My scedule doesn't allow to attend. The
invitation says that if I do not attend the interview the examination
of my application will be completed based on material available.
If I do not attend the interview, what are the chances that decision
will be positive?
What can I do to improve my chances?

If you cannot attend then you have been warned that they will use what
information they have on file to reach their decision. If they have doubts
it will be negative.
Did you miss a previous interview? Normally they would expect you to advise
them why you cannot re-arrange your schedule to attend.

If you skip the interview then most likely you'll be refused. Interview for
majority of applicants is their last and only chance to make their case, so
don't blow it. If your schedule is impossible to adjust then ask visa post
to reschedule the interview date providing solid reasons for it. Your
request may be granted, but your application will land at the bottom of
interview queue.
