hi

i want to travel around canada for 1 year, do i need a visa for this? if so what is the likelihood of getting one as i understand you can stay noramally without one for 6 months, is it best to just go for 6 mths and then apply for an extension?

What is the best thing to say at the port of arrival as i understand that this is the key to how long the passport is stamped for? Id i did not get the extension, when could i re enter canada as a vistitor again?

Any information would be helpful.


Also once out there if i did find a job could i apply for a work visa from canada itself?
